The Story:
Normandy Beach Race offers an authentic and free show to revive the atmosphere of the mechanical rendezvous of the 40s/50s. This original and spectacular event features a speed run on a 1/8 mile track, mixing vintage American and European cars and motorcycles pre-1947.
The Brief:
The organisers needed a professional website to promote and grow their event. The website should display all the necessary information about the event and allow racers and caterers to register several months before the event.
Mission:
Design and develop the website and update it each year to promote the next edition. As the event has grown, we have added a press section for press accreditation, an online shop, and online ticketing.
The Outcome:
Since the website was created in 2020, the popularity of this event has gone through the roof. It has become one of the major automobile events in France, drawing over 100,000 visitors for the last edition.
DESIGN PRESENTATION: CONCEPT
This is the official branding provided by the event organisers. It aligns well with the vintage style, racing, and the colours of the French flag. Working with such a well-designed identity to develop the website was a pleasure. Strong branding is essential for coherence between all marketing assets, including websites, email marketing, brochures, and social media posts.
The website is clean, modern, and conveys a vintage aesthetic. The UI is easy to navigate, allowing visitors to find the necessary information in a single click.
After selecting the concept and aesthetic, we further developed and refined the design until we achieved the final version that effectively captures the spirit of the race on a digital platform.

In order to accomplish that, a hierarchy is implemented by using powerful imagery and large titles to allow visitors to scan the website within a few seconds
