Client Overview:
The Obscuritones is a London Rock Band, signed with the label Brockwell Records.
An exciting project working with the music industry! For their third album artwork, the band contacted me without knowing what kind of visual they wanted.
The band’s strength is based on their two female leaders, both vocalists and musicians. I have chosen to show the contagious energy of these charismatic leaders as the focus of my design.
I worked on the creative art direction and design of their new album.

OUTCOME AND IMPACT
My Approach:
I have combined a strong retro vibe within the fonts and finish, and the red and black of their outfit to create unity within the band members.
To give this London-based band a recognizable London town feel, we shot the promo photos in an alleyway with a typical brick wall as a backdrop.
A bold blue colour has been chosen that complements the red and black to express the high energy of their performances.
The graphic design is influenced by the rockabilly visual style and carries a feeling of energy and dynamism.
